Eight Important Rules

Safety Rules and Prohibited Acts Inside the Venue
- Please do not enter restricted or dangerous areas.
- Watching or stopping on walkways, stairs, or the embankment is extremely dangerous. Please do not watch the fireworks in places that obstruct traffic or emergency evacuation.
- Entering or swimming in the Yodo River is prohibited.
- For accident prevention, please follow the instructions of executive committee staff, security personnel, and police officers.
- Bringing in, flying, or using drones, RC devices, and similar equipment is prohibited.
- Open flames may not be used inside the venue. Please do not bring or use barbecue grills, portable gas stoves, hand-held fireworks, generators, pyrotechnics, explosives, or any other dangerous items.
- The venue is non-smoking. Please use designated smoking areas for all smoking, including electronic and heated tobacco products. Please do not smoke while walking or litter cigarette butts, as they may cause burns, accidents, and inconvenience to nearby residents.
Preparing for Heat and Weather
- Shade inside the venue is limited. Please drink water and replenish salt regularly, and prepare for the heat with hats, parasols, and similar items.
- During busy periods and while the fireworks are being launched, please close parasols and be mindful of the sightlines and safety of those around you.
- In rainy weather, we recommend using a raincoat or other rainwear rather than an umbrella. Please refrain from using umbrellas during congested periods or while the fireworks are being launched.
- The program may be changed or cancelled due to strong winds, heavy rain, lightning, or other weather conditions. Please check the official website and official social media for the latest information.
Viewing and Photography Etiquette
- During the fireworks display, please refrain from standing up, putting children on your shoulders, kneeling, or using stepladders or footstools, as these actions block the view of guests behind you.
- Please use chairs and baggage only within a range that does not interfere with the viewing experience, traffic flow, or evacuation of others.
- Tripods and monopods may not be used inside the venue, except in the paid Camera Area and by authorized event personnel wearing official armbands.
- When taking photos, please be considerate so as not to block the view or passage of other guests. Please also refrain from repeated flash photography.
- Please refrain from behavior that disturbs others, such as playing music on speakers, playing videos at high volume, or shouting loudly.
About Saving Spots and Setting Up Sheets
- Please do not save spots before 12:00 on the event day.
- Even in the free viewing area, you may save a spot only from 12:00 on the event day.
- If you set up a sheet or chair, please do so only in places that are not walkways. If an item obstructs passage, staff may ask you to move it.
- Marking roads, parks, embankments, or facilities with tape, chalk, spray, or similar items is prohibited.
- If spot-saving becomes excessive, or if installed items obstruct traffic or evacuation, staff may ask for them to be moved or removed.
- Please do not set up tents or tarps anywhere inside the venue.
About Transportation, Arrival, and Departure
- Please refrain from coming by car. Do not park without permission in nearby shops or on private property, and do not park on the street.
- Please use designated bicycle parking areas. Because capacity is limited, we strongly recommend arriving on foot or by public transportation whenever possible.
- Please do not ride bicycles inside the venue. In crowded areas around the venue, please walk your bicycle.
- The venue will be extremely crowded on the day. If you arrive at Hirakata City Station after 18:00, you may not reach the venue before the fireworks begin.
- When leaving, please follow the guidance of police officers and security personnel, and cooperate with planned station guidance and staggered departure inside the station.
- There are no restrooms between Hirakata Venue and Hirakata City Station. Please be especially sure that small children use the restroom in advance.
Children, Lost Persons, Lost Property, and When You Need Help
- To help prevent children from getting lost, please do not take your eyes off them.
- If a child is lost, or if you find a lost child, please speak to the nearest staff member or the information headquarters.
- Mobile phone connections may become unstable during congestion. We recommend deciding on a meeting point with family members or companions in advance.
- Communications may become unstable due to congestion inside the venue. Please save your ticket, maps, and route home on your device in advance.
- A large number of lost items are reported every year. Please keep valuables with you and manage them personally.
- If you lose something or find a lost item, please report it to the information headquarters inside the venue or to the nearest staff member.
- The temporary toilets inside the venue are limited in number and may become very crowded depending on the time. Please use them early whenever possible.
- It may be helpful to bring wet wipes and spare toilet paper.
- If you feel ill, are injured, or notice suspicious items or suspicious persons, do not push yourself. Please inform the nearest staff member, security guard, or the information headquarters.
- Please manage suitcases, carts, large baggage, strollers, and similar items so that they do not obstruct passage or evacuation. Depending on congestion levels, staff may ask you to move or fold them.
About Bringing Pets
- If you bring a pet, please make sure it is controlled with a leash or carrier, and that the owner manages it responsibly.
- The sound of fireworks and congestion at the venue may startle pets or cause them physical stress. Please pay close attention to your pet’s condition.
- Please ensure that barking, jumping, contact with others, or waste does not inconvenience nearby guests.
- Depending on congestion, staff may ask you to move in order to maintain safety.
Consideration for the Neighborhood
- Please do not park without permission in the parking lots of nearby shops such as convenience stores or supermarkets.
- Please do not park on the street or pass through traffic-restricted areas without authorization. Only residents and authorized vehicles may pass.
- Please do not enter apartment buildings, private property, rooftops, or similar places without permission in order to watch the fireworks.
- Please do not shout loudly at night, create excessive noise, or leave trash behind, as these behaviors may disturb the neighborhood.
Trash and the Environment
- Please separate your trash and use the bins provided at the venue. Do not litter.
- Please keep control of leisure sheets, plastic bags, packaging materials, and anything else that may easily blow away in the wind.
- If the trash bins are crowded, or if the trash was generated outside the venue, please take it home with you.
